Robert "Hap" Davidge
Robert C. “Hap” Davidge was named the college’s alumnus of the year. A 1967 graduate of the health administration program, Davidge served as president/CEO of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La. for nearly 30 years before retiring in April 2008. Under his leadership, Our Lady of the Lake grew to become the largest hospital in the state. Davidge is a Recertified Fellow in the American College of HealthCare Executives and served two terms as Regent for the State of Louisiana. He is the recipient of the college’s Regent Lifetime Achievement Award. He also served as chair of the Louisiana Hospital Association and received their prestigious Lifetime Honorary Membership award.
