The college’s programs are at the forefront of health education and provide the knowledge necessary for success in the ever-changing health care field. Our faculty have enjoyed remarkable success in their research, and by translating their work into education programs, students receive the newest information. The college also incorporates discipline-specific and interdisciplinary education to prepare students to work in a diverse health care environment.

Undergraduate: The health science bachelor’s degree program is designed for students who are interested in becoming health care professionals. Instruction includes information on the U.S. health care system and the economics of health care; etiology and management of disease and disability; health research and its critical analysis, interpersonal aspects of interdisciplinary teams and patient care, and ethical and legal issues.

Graduate: The college has a 47-year history as one of the leading educational programs in health professions. Our graduate programs are among the nation’s best, as reported by U.S. News and World Report’s most recent rankings of the top graduate programs in health education.

Masters Programs: Our master's programs train the next generation of health care leaders and practitioners who will provide direct services to individuals and communities and influence policy and service delivery, such as to the underserved.

Doctoral Programs: Our commitment to educating researchers and practitioners at the doctoral level is combined with the development of high-quality research programs. Through these programs, the college has established itself as one of the leading health professions research programs in the country.

Distance Education: The college’s distance education programs are among the largest and most respected in their fields. Through these innovative programs, working professionals are able to continue their education anytime, anywhere as long as they have computer access.
