Purpose
The purpose of the Health Science Student Organization is to unify and promote cohesiveness and communication between prospective students and the junior and senior classes, and between the students and faculty. Also, HSSO provides a forum for prospective students and students within the program to get to know each other and more about their future professions through the student-mentoring program. It also makes available information, opportunities, and service activities throughout the university and the community.

Riders have the choice of completing 25, 55, and 100-mile legs that wind through the beautiful horse country surrounding Ocala, Florida. All donations raised from Team PHHP go towards the endowed Horse Farm 100 Scholarship Fund for students in the College of Public Health and Health Professions. All interested are encouraged to contact horsefarm100@phhp.ufl.edu. Thanks for supporting our PHHP Team and College!
