Occupational Therapy
We appreciate your interest in the University of Florida (UF) Occupational Therapy (OT) degree programs. We offer programs of study leading to the Masters of Occupational Therapy, Masters of Health Science and PhD in Rehabilitation Science. UF OT graduates provide services to patients and clients, hold supervisory positions, establish private practices, teach in OT programs, conduct research and provide leadership in the field.
The UF OT faculty is a diverse group of scholars dedicated to providing excellent educational programs, conducting research and engaging in service activities. Close working relationships between the faculty and students characterizes the OT Program.
Clinical practica, internships and residencies are an important component of the professional OT degree programs (both BS and MS). We have contracts with clinical facilities across the nation. Supervising therapists guide students as they apply classroom learning to clinical problems. Graduate students also have opportunities for fieldwork in clinical, research and administration.
UF is a major research university, a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities. OT students are members of a faculty/student body that is recognized for the quality of its education, research and social programs. You can find more information about our programs and the admissions process at this website.
Sincerely,
William C. Mann
